LiveType Project name suggestions
LiveType Project name description
The LiveType Project aims to develop full sets of Open Source fonts using free software (Fontforge). This is made by developing an open and collaborative platform that anyone involved can learn more about Typography and Type Design. Hence the stress on names such as Live and Collaboration ("collab" and "co-" prefixes).
LiveType, as in LiveType Project, is a name that suits this project very well, but, in order to prevent legal problems with Apple, it has been suggested we changed the project name (http://www.typophile.com/node/13565).
Meanwhile if you have some interesting information you would like to share, documents, links, known about typography, webdesign, know about Linux OS or just "plain old" interested, why don't you Get involved?
